Director of Audit and Compliance- Diagnostic Imaging Your challenge We challenge you to lead the strategic direction of the Audit program for the Diagnostic Imaging (DI) business by providing multi-site, cross-geography leadership to ensure the ongoing compliance and regulatory status for Diagnostic Imaging sites and products; thereby protecting Philips from regulatory legal action. You will harmonize all audit processes across DI, influence Diagnostic Imagining Quality & Regulatory strategy through your role on DI Quality Leadership Team, and engage with the Philips Healthcare Audit and Compliance Organization. In this role you will: · Assess audit capability of audit function across DI · Use of audit function as a key enabler of long term and sustainable compliance · Develop processes to ensure key learnings and findings are incorporated into audit strategy year on year · Make a case for compliance that extends beyond regulatory requirements · Raise the compliance bar in Diagnostic Imaging Your responsibilities · Provide leadership & strategic compliance direction to the audit organizations throughout DI · Manages and administers the DI internal audit program and serves as key member of team that manages external audits · Develop strategies to comply with changes to world-wide regulatory requirements to minimize impact to revenue streams · In conjunction with local leadership maintain site registrations for all DI facilities with federal and state authorities · Ensure regulatory communications to parties outside of Philips are accurate, truthful and appropriate. · Ensures follow up/implementation of corrective actions that are raised by deviations, internal audits or regulatory inspections. · Develops and maintains policies and procedures for DI and ensures their compliance to applicable regulations. · Monitors audit metrics relating to to drive on-going compliance and improvement. · Leads and guides problem resolution, resource utilization, career development, coaching and mentoring of team members. Your team Position reports to Head of Diagnostic Imaging Q&R. The latter reports to Chief Quality Officer for Philips. You’ll be a member of Diagnostic Imaging Quality and Regulatory Leadership team. DI Q&R is a large global organization made up of almost 550 employees. Members of the audit function across Computed Tomography/Advanced Molecular Imaging (CT/AMI), Magnetic Resonance (MR), (Digital X-ray (DxR), and Generator, Tubes, and Components (GTC), will report into this global role. Stakeholders include Business leaders, Quality Leaders, Auditors, Regulatory agencies and notified bodies. We are looking for · Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in an engineering or science discipline. · 10+ years working in a medical device regulated environment. · 5+ years of leadership experience in the global medical device industry. · Strong quality system and regulatory compliance knowledge is required. · Certified quality auditor. · Comfortable with 30-50% travel Competencies · Demonstrated leadership skills with particular expertise in leading through influence. · Demonstrated record of delivering results. · Excellent communication skills. · Ability to translate strategy through planning into measureable results Ready to start improving lives by putting your personal skills & passions to work?
