We collect, correlate, organize, and analyzetraffic data from all corners of your environment.We are currently searching for a Director of Revenue to join the senior finance team at our corporate headquarters located in Westford, MA. Reporting to the Senior Director of Revenue, this individual will work closely with the corporate and divisional finance teams to help analyze revenue accounting impacts for multi-element customer arrangements, implement new revenue accounting policies and supervise the revenue accounting teams. This position will also serve as a leader to oversee revenue assurance and integration efforts related to NetScout's acquisition of the Danaher Corporation's Communications Business. Key Responsibilities Work with both Sales and Legal departments to develop customer contracts which accomplish customer objectives while yielding the desired economics and revenue recognition accounting outcomes for the Company.Review and sign off on deal accounting packages prepared by the revenue team.Review VSOE and BESP models ensure ongoing compliance for the purposes of revenue recognition.Develop and lead the implementation of revenue related accounting policies and procedures.Review and document conclusions for complex, multi-element sales contracts to support compliance with applicable authoritative literature.Design, manage, and execute certain key controls around revenue recognition.Work with and train the Company's Sales and revenue operations groups to ensure that the proper revenue recognition criteria are well understood.Drive the development of a project plan to implement the new revenue standard and responsibility for ensuring that the Company complies with all the requirements of the new revenue recognition standard.Work on ad hoc projects as assigned by the Senior Director of Revenue.Desired Skills and ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA requiredMinimum of 10 years' experience of related financial and accounting experience in a software environmentPublic accounting experience required, corporate experience a plusStrong knowledge of revenue recognition standardsExperience in an international business environmentAbility to summarize and present complex accounting issues to senior leadersProficiency in MS Excel requiredAbility to manage multiple prioritiesProven ability to work independently and exercise judgmentProven ability to manage a team and multiple service providersExcellent interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills Oracle and RevStream experience a plusBasic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 10+ years of experience.
