Raytheon IDS Information Technology IT Service Management Lead, Assets and Financial management Work Location - Tewksbury or Andover, MA The IDS IT Business Management and Work Environments (BMWE) team is looking for an experienced IT Service Management Lead, primarily focused on providing oversight and financial analysis for program non-deliverable equipment (per Raytheon Financial Policy DP0207). The position will interact with all levels of the IT Organization on a daily basis to help forecast program supply and demand of non-deliverable IT equipment. This position will interact with the IT Program and Business Partner Leads (ITPLs & BPLs) to help define and understand monthly variances to budget EAC target positions throughout the fiscal year. Furthermore, the candidate will be involved in managing and organizing financial outlook reviews on a regular cadence, which includes risk and opportunity analysis, spend vs actual reporting, and future year AOP planning. This role will require active and frequent engagement with key stakeholders and maintaining multiple business and program support relationships within the IDS IT and Finance functions. Position will analyze open commitments with vendors, provide rationale for Appropriation Requests (ARs), and work with ITPLs & BPLs to understand future programs and IT equipment needs. The candidate must have a mindset of continued process improvements and the building of efficiencies into all aspects of the IT program asset life cycle. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist with overhead budget preparation and development of quarterly EACs of IDS mission area budgets Identify and describe how business value can be obtained through the implementation of technology, as well as how value has been captured post-deployment Partner and collaborate with business stakeholders through steering committees to understand business IT needs and priorities Perform detailed analysis for both total program and IT costs to help define and understand monthly variances to budget baseline and EAC positions and accurately predicting/forecasting execution of spending plans Assist in policy and process improvements, through a full understanding of financial policy DP0207, which details the program asset color of money. Assist in process improvements leveraging best practices and methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma) Development of metrics and/or dashboards to display real-time data to IT management, ITPL s and BPLs Ensure activities support and strengthen the program asset strategy of the IT organization Required Skills: 6+ years of relevant professional working experience Technical Experience within IT or related field Understanding of Financial Planning & Administration principals and concepts such as Annual Operating Plan preparation, Financial Performance Monitoring, cost estimating and cost allocation processes/methodologies Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others collaboratively and constructively Demonstrated experience with the Microsoft Office suite tools Desired Skills: Experience working within DoD Programs within IT or technical role Experience working within an IT discipline (example: System Administration) Proficient with Financial Planning tools similar to SAP, PRISM, APEX and Business Warehouse finance modules and transactions Working knowledge of financial and accounting policies and procedures, including DP0207 and Capital funding policies Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast paced work environment Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information Basic understanding of IT technologies and hardware (e.g. workstations, servers, software, network and storage devices) Demonstrated ability to complete tasks with high attention to detail and accuracy Six Sigma Specialist or industry equivalent certification in Six Sigma Earned Value Management System Certification or similar financial planning and execution certification Ability to attain DOD Secret Security Clearance if necessary in the future.
