This position provides substantial technical, administrative and customer interaction support to the collection, secondary marketing, environmental and managed asset areas. These activities include preparation of loan mitigation documents, resolution of customer problems, preparation and review of departmental reports, and working with consumer, small business, commercial and mortgage loan customers in a day:to:day support capacity to insure MSB delivers high quality service to those customers. Performs any functions necessary, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers.Researches and works on the assigned delinquent portfolio including field calls and collateral inspections. Reviews delinquency history and makes collection notification and follow:up calls in conformance with Bank and regulatory collection policies and procedures. Sends additional letters and documents all activities and maintains appropriate records. Consults with manager where clarification or exception to Bank policy may be required.Works with outside counsel, loan servicing and accounting to insure all required documentation is gathered and prepared for review and execution by collections officer. Orders and reviews such documents as required in the loss mitigation process. Insures such documentation is properly processed and all appropriate records/files obtained, correctly and accurately completed, and properly filed in the appropriate credit and/or legal file. Prepares ORE transfer documentation and ensures property management agreements are in place. Works on a day:to:day basis with assigned customers to resolve operational issues, obtain required documentation for ongoing file maintenance such as financial statements, tax returns, updated personal statements, hardship documentation and the resolution of documentation exceptions as necessary. Responds directly and in a timely manner to customer inquiries for information or problem resolution.Works closely with loan servicing and accounting to ensure all payments are recorded accurately. On the ORE properties, works with accounting to ensure entries are booked properly and all payments are recorded correctly. At disposition of property, ensures all funds are applied correctly and works with accounting to ensure transaction is recorded properly.Responsible for the preparation of internal department reports, which include Industry Concentrations, HELOC Metrics, Participation Reports and Specific Reserve Report.Prepares special reports as requested, including but not limited to regulatory reports, delinquency reports, collection activity reports, loan status reports, portfolio analysis reports, secondary reports and environmental reports and meeting established deadlines for same. Performs various file maintenance to update and keep loan status current.Provides guidance and support in their duties with respect to file maintenance, physically securing credit and legal files, and meeting administrative requests/demands of other departments.Refers sales opportunities to other departments or bank affiliates in support of established objectives.Ensures full compliance with the BankA?s Information Security Policies and Procedures.Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines.Performs related and unrelated duties as may be required.Associates degree or its equivalency plus specialized course work and training in lending.Should have 3 years prior experience in administrative role acting under broad guidelines for day to day activities.Must have strong communication skills, ability to work within prescribed timelines and dynamic work atmosphere, working knowledge of real estate, basic environmental and appraisal terminology, detail oriented, and ability to multitask.Must possess at least intermediate to advanced technology skills, including knowledge of excel, word processing, and database and spreadsheet appl
