The Senior Manager, Technical Accounting will report to the Director of External Reporting and provide technical accounting guidance on complex accounting issues and transactions as well as play a key role in understanding and adopting new accounting literature. Work cross-functionally with finance and operational personnel on business transactions to evaluate and document accounting and operational considerations in compliance with relevant financial reporting standards, corporate policies and internal control documentation requirementsResearch new accounting guidance from the FASB, SEC and other regulatory bodies, including evaluating the financial and operational impact of new standards on the Companya€ (TM) s financial statements and operationsMaintain and update Company-wide accounting and finance policies as necessary, including creation of new policies for newly adopted accounting standardsSupport global accounting and finance teams on technical issues including communication and training on new accounting guidance or new corporate policiesLead quarterly and annual preparation of the company's SEC filings and related earnings releases.Manage aspects of the quarter-end financial reporting process including international reporting packages and flux analyses.Supervise and support international accounting issue identification and resolutionWork closely with FP&A to drive alignment between accounting and finance policies and the budgeting processAssist with special projects as neededBachelora€ (TM) s degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum 8+ yearsa€ (TM) experience with at least 5 years in Big 4 public accountingActive CPA licenseStrong understanding of GAAP and the ability to clearly document, communicate and present complex accounting and reporting issues to finance and non-finance managementAbility to work in a fast paced environment, prioritize and handle multiple tasksCritical thinker who can foresee potential obstacles and propose alternative approachesExperience building relationships and working directly with senior executivesSignificant experience with developing, documenting, and maintaining processes, policies and controls in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirementsExperience in technical accounting areas within technology environments: Revenue Recognition (ASC 605-25 and ASC 985-605), Share-based Compensation (ASC 718), Leases (ASC 840), Business Combinations (ASC 805), Foreign Currency Matters (ASC 830)Experience with Revenue from Contracts with Customers (ASC 606) a plusRewardWe offer a highly competitive rewards and benefits package including private healthcare, dental and life coverage.
