Job Responsibilities Perform various daily, weekly, monthly transaction and portfolio accounting and reconciliation processes for multiple SIFs, SMFs and SMAs within the order management and accounting systems. Coordinate with various third party administrators and custodians to resolve issues. Participate in the annual audit of fund financial statements; working closely with external auditors and service providers. Participate in the onboarding of new clients and funds; including opening various fund administration, custodial and brokerage accounts and system set-up as needed. Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate successful portfolio planning and implementation. Research, resolve, and respond to inquiries or requests from clients and the front office. Oversee the processing of client capital activity and related payments. Involvement in system migration, testing and implementation. Qualifications Undergraduate degree; preferably in accounting, finance or business. 3-5 years' work experience in investment operations or fund accounting/administration for fund of funds, hedge and/or private equity funds required. A team oriented individual with attention to detail and strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work in a rapidly growing fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing priorities within deadlines. Excellent MS Excel and Word skills are required, experience with fund accounting software desirable Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship or restriction. The Senior Portfolio Administrator will be responsible for reviewing the accounting of all transactions and assisting with the daily, monthly and annual administration of Single Investor Funds (SIFs), Single Manager Funds (SMFs) and Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs), each of which are client-aligned portfolios that hold hedge, private equity, mutual funds and/or derivatives. This role requires client communication and frequent collaboration with other internal operations and investment teams and external service providers (eg, fund accounting agent, brokers, custodians, and auditors).
