Maintain consistent contact with borrowers, assuring a professional and positive customer service experience.
:
Manage a queue of approximately 500 or more borrower accounts; record accurate and detailed notes, and update account status and borrower information as needed.
:
Work with borrowers to resolve their defaulted student loan accounts by negotiating reasonable payment arrangements.
:
Educate borrowers on the consequences of not resolving their debt, while also highlighting the available opportunities currently being offered through the Department of Education, including loan rehabilitation.
:
Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals, deadlines and objectives.
:
Adhere to consumer protection laws and F.H. Cann and Associates standard practices and policies.
:
Research and locate information leading to contact with the borrower.
Job Requirements:

:
Qualified applicants must be professional, well organized, results driven and persistent, and able to work in a high volume and fast paced environment.
:Must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally, and identify issues and present options resulting in a final resolution.
:Excellent time management, attendance and punctuality are a must.
:
Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
:
All applicants will be required to pass FHCs background check, a credit check, and obtain a federal background clearance.
:
All applicants will be required to pass an FDCPA exam and adhere to CFPB
guidelines/regulations.
:
Responsible for understanding and adhering to FHCs Information Security Policy and Procedures.
:
Demonstrate proficiency with various Internet resources used to locate borrowers as needed.
:Reliable transportation is required.
:Bi:lingual a plus

Technical skills: Excel, Outlook Email, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Debt Collection, Sales, Telemarketing, Banking, Financial Services, Call Center, Telephone Customer Service, or Administrative experience preferred.
Environment: This position is in a busy office environment with substantial sitting and computer work.
Work Schedule: Full time (40 hrs. weekly), 3 weekdays (8am:4:30pm), and 2 late nights per week (11am:8pm)
