Job Description:/h3:
Responsible for performing a broad spectrum of administrative support for the Senior Vice President, Higher Education. Daily responsibilities include but not limited to: Managing calendars, making travel, meeting and event arrangements; preparing and coordinating reports and presentations and preparing expense reports.

Primary Responsibilities
General administrative duties: Creating emails and correspondence, filing,
photocopying/scanning, data entry, managing phone calls, travel schedules, etc.
Provide confidential, comprehensive executive support and assistance.
Administer day:to:day operations of the executives office by coordinating the workflow and daily activities.
Proactively manage and optimize Executives time, travel, and meeting attendance.
Maintain and manage calendar and schedule, and coordinate appointments.
Facilitate meeting arrangements and ensure meeting preparation by providing materials and documentation required in advance and/or as needed.
Establish and maintain effective and professional communication with all employees.
Monitor email account and respond or act on appropriately.
Coordinate and attend meetings as directed.
Prepare agenda, take and create accurate minutes.
Plan and coordinate Marketing and Sale events, staff meetings, etc
Provide information by researching, collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data as required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelors Degree in Business related field strongly preferred.
Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible administrative assistant roles; two of which reporting directly to a senior executive.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel and PowerPoint required
Strong proofreading and grammar skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Demonstrated strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete on a timely basis

Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to sit for long periods of time and multitask. Hear and converse clearly over the telephone, and data entry, composing and proofreading on a computer. Regularly uses vision to focus on computer. This is a semi:sedentary position working in a fast:paced environment.
