As the ECB (Enterprise and Cloud Billing) unit within Ericsson (formerly MetraTech) we continue to accelerate our leadership in cloud and enterprise billing and settlement to enable customers to quickly and flexibly support new revenue and monetization models. Our solutions enable global commerce innovation as industries transform to actively participate in the Networked Society enabled by the Internet of Things (IoT) and Everything as a Service (XaaS). We enable customers to create and securely collect revenue, provide settlement to partners and manage their customer lifecycle. ECB is now part of Ericssons strategic CGIS group which is responsible for Ericssons foray in the non:telco industries such as Utilities, Transportation, Airports and is at the forefront of Ericssons IoT portfolio and strategy.

The DevOps Engineer is a software engineer responsible for defining, evangelizing and implementing the common continuous development processes, practices, tools and environments which are used by the Ericsson Enterprise and Cloud Billing development organization (Ericsson ECB). You will ensure the development of innovative and competitive technical solutions, products and/or components. You will be involved in the R and D process to ensure the development of high quality, innovative solutions, products and/or components using the most appropriate technology available across that area. You will provide means to update, test, replace, and integrate enterprise software continously and over its lifetime. You will provide solutions for breaking down monolithic enterprise software into smaller more manageable components, and modifying them in production environments. You will be responsible for providing means for ensuring software is secure, is performant. is scalable, is resilient and is functionally sound.

Responsibilities and Tasks:/h4:

:5:10 years experience working in Enterprise or SAAS applications implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery practices
:Drive build, test, packaging and release processes
:Drive security processes and controls
:Expertise with one or more code control systems such as SVN, TFS, Git/Github, Clearcase et al.
:Expertise in at least one of C, Java, C++
:Expertise with one or more build tools and/or continuous integration tools such as MsBuild, Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, CruiseControl.Net et al.
:Scripting skills in one or more scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Groovy, Shell scripting, Powershell
:Bachelors degree in engineering or related technical field, MS or MBA is added plus
:Familiarity with test automation or unit testing tools such as JUnit, NUnit, MSTest, Selenium, TestComplete platform, and testing par
