Position:
Multifaceted Executive Assistant/Office
Manager/Administrative Support position needed for a small private real estate firm specializing in residential and commercial property management, investment, development and brokerage in the Brookline/Boston area. The company is actively seeking to grow and expand its real estate portfolio through various acquisitions, while also striving to complement its core business through the implementation of value:add real estate services.
General Description:
Responsibilities include general administrative and office management duties; general bookkeeping and filing; fielding client telephone calls; overseeing accounts payable/receivable; assisting with various aspects of property leasing; and developing complete proficiency in the companys property management and accounting software system.
Additional Responsibilities:
The qualified candidate will become heavily involved with the firms property leasing activities, including the overseeing of all lease renewals, new tenant move:ins, and the processing of all related paperwork. The candidate will also be responsible for such duties as promoting and advertising properties for lease using various methods including the company web site and other online resources; interacting with outside brokerage offices; and fielding customer phone calls with the goal of facilitating and performing showings of properties to prospective tenants.
General Candidate Requirements:
Motivated candidates must exhibit knowledge of basic accounting principles and strong computer skills, and demonstrate professional telephone interaction with customers, clients and vendors. A strong ability to successfully multi:task on a daily basis is essential. Candidates should also possess a general interest in the real estate field, although industry experience is not required. A minimum of a 2:year Associates Degree is required. Must be comfortable working in a small office environment. Candidates living within the Brookline/Boston area strongly preferred.
Required Experience and Skills:
Administrative and bookkeeping experience; basic accounting skills are preferred; computer proficiency; data entry; filing; typing 45+ wpm; e:mail; Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word, Powerpoint); Photoshop and photo editing software; strong interpersonal skills; commitment to detail.
Position Details:
Part:Time, 25:30 hrs/wk (non:benefit eligible)
Salary: Commensurate with experience. General range of 20.00 : 25.00/hr.
Location: Brookline/Boston line, adjacent to public transportation and public parking.
