This position requires a dynamic and self-motivated candidate to provide executive administrative support to the CMO and other senior leaders in R&D they will be an integral part of the Keryx team. This position requires excellent communication, inter-personal and collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels across the organization and with external parties. The ideal candidate must work with an appropriate sense of urgency, the ability to prioritize, and a high level of discretion with an ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. An ability to multi-task, demonstrate flexibility, and demonstrate strong organization skills in a fast paces environment are essential for this position. Primary Responsibilities:Proactive calendar management,including scheduling and managing meeting requests.Provide general administrative support to include: calendar and meeting management, coordination of leadership team meetings a€" set agendas, attend, capture meeting minutes, and follow through on action items. Provide finance and budget support by submitting requests for purchase orders, and tracking invoices through the payment process. Provide extensive travel support, both domestic and international and manage related expense reports. Pro-actively troubleshoot and address travel conflicts and issues. Independently manage and own special projects, some that may require discretion and sensitivity.Help to prepare for Board of Directors meetings including preparation of R&D related materials[FL1] .Responds to a wide variety of requests from multiple sources. Provides administrative and executive support to the R&D leadership for Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Pharmacovigilance and Regulatory Affairs Professional Experience and QualificationsPrior experience supporting senior executives, preferably in the biopharma industryAbility to exercise sound judgment, use discretion and manage sensitive and confidential information.Demonstrated ability to be pro-active, anticipate issues and effectively problem-solve. Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in any situation.Experience planning large meetings.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.Demonstrated ability to take initiativeStrong organizational skills, with the ability to manage and effectively prioritize multiple tasks with strong attention to detail in a business with changing prioritiesStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to interface effectively with a wide variety of internal and external clientsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work closely with other members of the administrative team in a collaborative mannerEducationB.A. or Associatea€ (TM) s degree with at least 5 years of experience supporting c-level executives.
