Medical Office Receptionist/ Patient Care Coordinator Position

Job Summary: In this position you will coordinate patient appointments and scheduling for the clinic in order to ensure optimal clinician productivity and customer satisfaction. You will support the business through providing exceptional customer service for our patients The responsibilities include greeting patients, obtaining and entering patient data, scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, transmitting messages between patients and physicians, collecting copayments, scanning, maintaining patient charts, checking patients in and out, obtaining any outsourced authorizations for imaging, and maintaining the lobby and front desk area.

Experience Requirements: This position requires a minimum of one to two years of previous job related experience; with prior patient
scheduling/healthcare experience strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with good interpersonal skills allowing them to build professional relationships with the entire patient care team. Through effective organizational, time management and planning skills this role will demonstrate the essential ability to multitask and show a commitment to exceptional professionalism, confidentiality and customer service. This role requires the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, in order to accurately and concisely communicate with physicians and patients.

*Must have own transportation, you will be required to work at both of our locations in Cambridge and Stoneham.
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:15am:3:45pm
Tuesday and Thursday 8:30am:6:00pm
*Must have a flexible schedule as Physicians hours can change.
