Job Description:/h3:
Location: Ipswich, MA
In this role, you will support clients with the implementation, management and support of Microsoft based systems including: desktops, laptops, printers, smart phones, infrastructure security and applications (anti:virus software, backup software, system recovery (imaging) software, basic firewall tasks, etc.) and business productivity applications.

Desired Experience, Knowledge and Abilities: B.S. in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent work experience or equivalent
degree/certification. 3+ years of related experience in a level 2 or 3 IT Help desk role. Industry certification of Microsoft Desktop Support and CompTIA A+ is preferred.

Knowledge of PC hardware components, desktop operating system software, application software and engineering applications. Knowledge of MAC OSX and smart phones. Advanced knowledge of anti:virus, personal firewalls, backup and system recovery (imaging) solutions and remote access is required.
Working knowledge of Exchange including: on:prem migration, troubleshooting issues with virtual directories, configuration of Auto Discover and Outlook Anywhere.

Windows Server : Repair, troubleshoot, analyze crash dumps, Install and configure roles, promote and demote domain controllers. Proven Server migration knowledge including: Windows server to windows server, migrate file shares with security, transfer FSMO roles, transfer DHCP, etc.

SQL server : migrate, backup and restore, upgrade, create maintenance jobs, performance monitoring.

Solid understanding of networking such as layer 3 switch configuration including VLANs and routing, firewall configuration and troubleshooting, NAT and port forwarding.

Network Security including monitoring, intrusion protections, vulnerability testing, etc. is a plus.

Knowledge of VM : ESXi 4.1 : 6.0 ADFS : Active Directory Federation Services for SSO Office 365 Migration Experience Google Applications also a plus.

Able to effectively prioritize, multi:task and handle the demands of multiple constituencies and hectic environments. Exhibits strong organizational qualities, respect for deadlines in all aspects of work. Excellent analytical skills and able to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems. Strong attention to detail and follow:up skills. Able to communicate effectively and in a constructive manner with management, clients, and coworkers. Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on technical, computer related subject matters i.e. technical documentation, checklists, company/client communications, projects, detailed and accurate resolution descriptions, etc. Valid drivers license.
