If you are a Java and Groovy Engineer with experience, please read on!
Based in Cambridge, MA, we are an exciting socially plugged in ECommerce Start-Up.
We have two brand new positions that has just opened on our team for a Senior Software Engineers to join our production team on Java and Groovy on Grails. This is exciting web site that will give you great experience working on the latest technologies and methods in Social Networking and ECommerce! We need a programmer who can deliver high quality code on the backend of our site. If you know how to code Java or Groovy on Grails, please apply for this excellent opportunity!
Must Have:
1.) 5+ years of Java programming experience, and some experience with Groovy on Grails programming
2.) Working understanding of web technologies like HTML and Javascript, jQuery and Backbone.js (plus)
3.) Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related work experience
4.) Interest in working on Software Development and high traffic web and social network.
Very nice to have:
1.) Experience with Facebook or OpenSocial API
2.) Good understanding of Design Patterns, MVC and Algorithms
3.) Experience with Agile/Scrum
4.) Hibernate and Backbone.js
5.) Any iOS application development experience
