Senior Software Engineer (Communispace Corporation; Boston, MA)

Use strong communication skills (written and verbal) to fully own new feature design and implementations in collaboration with Product Owners and UX. Provide technical leadership: champion and introduce new technologies, mentor the team. Effectively maintain existing features of business critical web based platform and mobile applications, refactor as necessary to address technical debt. Troubleshoot and fix production issues both on front-end and back-end. Create and maintain automated tests. Maintain and enhance release process using continuous integration best practices and tools. Work in an agile environment to design, implement, test, and document the software and systems that meet requirements created in collaboration with product owners. Create and maintain both the application software that drives Communispace platforms and the automated test routines that ensure their quality and drive biweekly release cycles. Work with the Communispace Engineering Team which creates and maintains business critical web based platforms, built on modern software technologies. Create and maintain mobile applications using iOS / ObjectiveC and Android / Java technologies. Work with Product Managers and Senior Engineers to define and implement new features using agile methodologies.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field, plus 3 years of experience developing multi-tiered, large scale web applications as a full stack software engineer. Within the 3 years, must have experience in the following: 2 years of experience developing native mobile applications for Android or iOS using Android Java/Kotlin or iOS Objective-C/Swift; 2 years of experience using Net 4.6, C# 6, LINQ, MVC 3.0, Web API and REST; 2 years of experience using SQL Server 2012+, and Entity Framework 6.0; 2 years of experience using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript; experience in applying common software design best practices (including SOLID); experience in addressing and preventing common security vulnerabilities, specifically OWASP Top 10.
