The UI/UX Designer’s primary role is to create concepts and develop them through to execution primarily in electronic media. Representing all of the creative in internal meeting and presentations. The UI/UX Designer works on digital products, platforms, and applications and has the ability to work independently, in tandem with the team, and collaboratively with a cross-discipline team including copywriters, strategists, front-end and back-end developers. The UI/UX Designer should be comfortable explaining ideas to executive-level client stakeholders and should be able to understand and translate the client’s business needs into original but workable solutions.

Responsibilities

Design company websites
• Design and build client dashboards
• Deign the UI for new features in the company’s SaaS applications
• Design company’s visual presence at trade shows
• Deign company’s electronic and printed marketing collateral
• Collaborate with the team to develop concepts that meet predetermined objectives and strategies
• Complete projects from initial concepts through production phase
• Interact with creative partners and other agency departments for completion of assigned projects
• Manage creative process on an ongoing basis, throughout all stages of production
• Engage & prepare Client and Agency presentations
• Collaborate with team to create compelling and successful creative campaigns & executions
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, manage priorities, identify and address project needs with colleagues and meet deadlines
• Create and adhere to style & brand guidelines
• Champion high-priority UX needs so they’re properly prioritized on the roadmap
• Design user interaction, navigational hierarchies, and workflow models
Qualifications
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; the ability to present and explain UX concepts and decisions to key stakeholders
• Demonstrate the ability to compose visually stunning, cutting-edge concepts on a wide range of projects from print to web.
• Have the ability to collaborate within the team while also being an independent worker, able to handle solo assignments
• Desire to learn, grow, and contribute in a creative, collaborative environment
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts or related field
• 3-5 years of design experience (3 years of digital UI/UX experience)
• Mastery of design & production software, Adobe Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign.
• Strong skills in Flash, HTML, After Effects, Final Cut Pro will be favored
• A well-rounded portfolio of client work, demonstrating a strong understanding of type/layout across all platforms.
• Self-direction in daily responsibilities and ability to accomplish all tasks without supervision
• Solution-oriented attitude in addressing day to day challenges of job
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
