Seeking students with a strong background for developing a working prototype of origami and kirigami structures that enable specific, tunable structural characteristics as well as motion degrees of freedom. The students collaborate with work conducted by the Naval Academy interns. Students will be working with not only Draper staff, but with Harvard professors as well.Applicant must be a US citizen and is currently a rising Junior or rising Senior. The ideal candidate must be a fast, self:directed learner and must have a clearly exceptional academic record. Outstanding written and oral communication skills, along with the ability to work as part of a team, are essential. Proficiency in Algebra II and Geometry is required.
