Are you the parent of a child who is 3½ years old or younger?

Are you interested in your child's social and emotional development?

The Brain and Early Experiences (BEE) Lab at Boston University would love to hear from you!

We are studying how parents help their children to manage stress, and how children's stress
hormones are linked to temperament, learning, life experiences, and sleep habits.

Participating involves a visit to our lab at Boston University when your child is 3½ years old and
measures of stress hormone levels from hair and saliva.
You will be compensated up to $45 total for participating in this study. Free parking is available
and your child will receive a toy as a thank-you gift.

To learn more about the Stress Hormone Influences on Early Learning and Development
(SHIELD) Study at Boston University, or to join our pool of families interested in participating
