Your challenge The Imaging Technology Director is a new position in Philips responsible for advanced analysis of medical equipment fleets within our Managed Services portfolio and will contribute to the design and build of Philips business platform for delivering medical asset management as a service. To be successful, you will have experience utilizing complex analytical tools and business acumen to identify and track trends in data (along with identifying associated improvement opportunities). Your responsibilities Director of Fleet Management will provide ongoing expertise in identifying, synthesizing and analyzing various data related to Managed Services medical equipment fleet performance within and across accounts. Analytic inputs include, but are not limited to: market demand, population forecasts, age and condition of assets, replacement costs, asset utilization rates, clinical workflow, useful life, service costs, competency levels of staff, as well as clinical revenue. Outputs and outcomes include financial, clinical and operational improvements in capital expenses, cash flow, clinical diagnoses, monitoring and patient care delivery. Responsibilities include: • Lead the development and execution of medical equipment fleet analysis at multiple clients • Work with various Philips groups (BIUs, Multi-vendor, HTS and Solution teams) to identify and consolidate data on equipment, service, clinical and operational performance. • Identify methods and tools to streamline, automate and simplify technology assessment and related analytics • Develop scenario analyses that highlight performance improvement opportunities • Integrate clinical and supply chain data to identify resource utilization opportunities that will assist in physician preference and clinical supply cost reduction opportunities. • Combine clinical data with supply chain data to identify areas for performance improvement in resource utilization including the business and clinical case for physician preference cost reduction strategies. • Manage multiple clients simultaneously while maintaining close relationships with clients • Post-installation tool customization (set up and maintain customer KPIs, alerts, and dashboard views) • Respond to data-driven alerts, analyze related data, and formulate an action plan • Perform root cause analysis related to operational concerns at customer sites • Develop, maintain, and improve Philips-customer relationships and build the credibility and visibility of Philips to key decision makers at the customer site • Perform on-site observations and interviews at client radiology departments and hospitals to understand customer needs and challenges and formulate • Present findings, reports, and recommendations to customers, including RBMs, administrators, and potentially CXO level • Perform live and remote training to customers as part of the on-going product lifecycle (updates, upgrades) • Perform live and remote training to customers on data interpretation Our offer Through innovative business collaborations and strategies, we can help manage healthcare technologies, project-manage certain functional activities, and assume shared financial and regulatory risk. We are looking for • 10+ years in data analytics. • Proven ability to develop complex analytic tools. • Medical equipment fleet management / consulting experience preferred. • Ability to prioritize work • Effectively present information to co-workers and employee groups, including upper management, customers at various levels and public representatives • Superior communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at many levels within the organization. • Excellent organizational skills and exceptional customer focus. • The ability to quickly eliminate roadblocks and create / maintain program focus • The ability to marshal resources to get things done, orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish goals, use all available resources effectively and efficiently, and communicate need, status, and outcome in a useful manner. • The commitment to blend people into teams when needed, openly share wins and successes; and define success in terms of the whole team. • Proven experience and ability working in matrix organizations • Business or clinical degree, with advanced degree preferred • Ability to interpret data and trends, use of Business Intelligence type tooling, including working knowledge of statistics (understanding of terminology and significance), data visualization techniques (what visualization approach to use) • Project management: able to track and manage multiple clients simultaneously, and prioritize activities based on clinical and commercial variables • Can design and deploy continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma) and can coach others in effective deployment of continuous improvement methodologies • Can execute structured root cause analysis, critical thinking, and problem solving methodologies. Can support the creation of tools and procedures to standardize these activities, and can coach others in the deployment of these processes. • Can gain expert knowledge of product functionality at a level sufficient to train others in basic use, advanced functionality, and best practices • Technology - familiar with the role (what data they provide), advantages, and limitations (where the data is reliable or not reliable, possible blind spots in the data) of imaging and IT systems • Operations: recognizes key performance indicators and their relevance to a radiology department, understand how these can be measured (link to systems) and limitations in those measurements, and the (people, process, system) factors that impact those KPIs • Organizations: fluency with typical roles and interactions within a radiology department and hospital; understand roles as linked to KPIs • Can gain broad knowledge about Philips products and services at a level sufficient to identify what Philips offerings may address customer needs and to make the connection between customer and Philips Contact Ready to start improving lives by putting your personal skills & passions to work?
