Image Conscious Studios seeks a Project Manager to keep our 10 person agency of designers and developers humming along. The PM is responsible for managing client-based project work, as well as aiding and facilitating both internal projects & day-to-day studio operations.

We’re looking for someone who is extremely detailed-oriented, can work quickly & efficiently across a range of projects & tasks, and is a people person: you will become a primary point of contact between clients and the creative team and must be able to keep the team motivated, and clients happy. Sometimes this means delivering bad news; sometimes it means having a positive attitude that keeps the studio moving along. You’ll be a key player in the creation of fantastic design work.

Your responsibilities include:

Manage budget, schedule, communications, and workflow for internal and client projects, and as well as the studio as a whole

Help define and scope new projects. Field new project inquiries

Lead morning check-in meetings with the team. Create agendas for client meetings and record feedback and next steps

Set team & client expectations to ensure high-quality work is delivered on time and within budget

Assist with Quality Assurance testing including matching final product to scope and reviewing copy

Cultivate a positive and effective relationship with clients as a primary point of contact

Helps the team stay motivated and focused

Assist in studio-level forecasting & resource allocation

Collaborate with partners & directors on the continual improvement of practices and processes, including regular PM meetings and post-project team debriefs

Anticipate, Identify and neutralize potential risks to happiness, quality, or profitability

Operational management: supply ordering, answering phone, delegating tasks to the studio clean and organized

Desired Skills and Experience

You have:

Experience managing multiple projects concurrently

Strong organizational & communicative skills

Mac skills, Microsoft office and/or Google docs, sheets and calendar

Self-motivation & a great work ethic

A fun, friendly & personable demeanor

A willingness to learn new skills, anticipate issues & adapt to new challenges as they arise.

You understand the importance of good communication and excel at cultivating a positive work environment, as well as working closely with a small, tight-knit team. You should also have experience and/or a strong desire to work within a creative design environment.
