Eaton Vance implemented Workday in January 2015 and currently has the following modules implemented: Workday HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking and Absence, Performance Management, Advance Compensation and Recruiting. Workday Learning and Contingent Workers in Workday will be implemented within the next year.

Basic Purpose:

The HRIS team is looking for a Workday professional who will help us continue to promote, develop and support Workday. The role will work with the HRIS team to manage the configuration of Workday, perform analysis and support, and help in the development of the Workday modules. Other responsibilities include writing custom reports, maintaining the Workday security model and business processes. The individual will evaluate requests and make recommendations, test the impact of Workday’s feature releases and perform testing of the new functionality.

Primary Responsibilities:

Participate in the ongoing design and configuration of Workday at Eaton Vance Corp.
Responsible for leading Workday related projects, including the presentation of new Workday features to functional areas within HR.
Develop strong relationships with business users in all HR Functional areas including the HR teams at the company’s subsidiaries.
Work with Workday implementation partners and configure Workday to address the needs of the business.
Collaborate with other members of HRIS team and actively share knowledge to develop in-house expertise in Workday.
Create business requirements documents, system configuration documents, detailed functional specification documents, test plans and test cases. Create user training documents and implementation documentation as necessary. Maintain proper change management documentation to satisfy the company’s internal/external audit controls.
Assist HRIS team with weekly new hire onboarding and Workday orientation

Job Requirements:

BA/BS degree is required.
Minimum of two years’ Workday experience.
Familiarity with the following Workday modules is desired: Core HCM, Recruiting, Time Tracking and Absence, Performance Management, Advanced Compensation, Benefits and Workday Payroll. Experience with Workday Learning a plus. Exposure to the troubleshooting of existing Workday integrations and development of basic EIB inbound/outbound integrations a plus.
Must have advanced Workday security expertise to maintain and create custom roles & user based security groups, configure Business Process & Domain Security Policies.
Capable of writing Standard, Advanced, Matrix and Composite reports. Experience with creating complex calculated fields and custom objects.
Experience interacting with business users, ability to collect requirements, create business requirements and functional specification documents for system improvements. Demonstrated ability to take the business requirements and translate into Workday configuration.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple demands and thrive in a collaborative and fast paced environment.
Advanced MS Excel Skills (formulas, pivot tables, vlookups) and MS Office Skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written.
