Job Description:/h3:
Duty Location: Hanscom Air Force Base, MA
(Initial 12:mo scope of work with possibility of extension)
Travel Required: up to 15 (OCONUS)
This position requires a mid:career cyber specialist with experience supporting the stand:up and formation of governance, risk, and compliance programs. The incumbent will be responsible for the definition and authoring of enterprise security policies, processes, and standards in accordance with the requirements contained in the NIST Risk Management Framework. Specific focus will be placed on the definition and stand up of Continuous Monitoring, Auditing, and Incident Response capabilities within a newly formed governance organization. This position will also act as a subject matter expert to advise US Government allies and partners on the optimal ways and means to define, organize, and mature formal Governance, Risk, and Compliance programs.
This position is targeted for a detail oriented, self:motivated, and technically adept program specialist or engineer with experience working in the early stages of developing and documenting a cyber governance, risk, and compliance program. The successful candidate will be comfortable working both alone and as part of a team, with substantial exposure to end customer personnel, including middle and executive management. The customers for this project include foreign militaries and governments allied with the United States. The sensitive nature of these engagements and interactions require a specialist who is patient and willing to work with peers who speak English as their second language. The ideal candidate for this position would have previous experience working technical engagements with EMEA customers and cultures. Basic Arabic language skills are desired, but not required.
:ISC2 Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) (or equiv) preferred
:ISACA Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) (or equiv) preferred
No degree and 7 years of experience, Bachelors Degree, Masters Degree, or Doctorate Degree and 5 years of experience. Experience must include substantial technical auditing and cyber systems security engineering work, ideally in a EMEA (or another non:U.S.) environment.
The successful candidate must have or be able to obtain a U.S. government security clearance and passport when hired. Candidate must be willing to travel overseas to potentially hazardous locations including countries in South America, Europe, and the Middle East.
Work may involve sitting for extended periods. Job tasks may require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. Successful candidate must have sufficient mobility to enter areas of manufacturing and military sites or facilities when required. Successful candidate must be able to complete long duration overseas flights.
The working environment is a mix between a general office environment and on:site work at foreign government locations. Job performance will include periodic temporary duty assignments to CONUS and OCONUS locations. Most travel will last seven (7) days or less, but could last up to thirty (30) days.
