Develop Advanced Cybersecurity Analytics In this position, you will protect Philips’ IT software services, products, and applications, hardware, and network. Specifically, you will design and develop automated tools and techniques to perform penetration testing, and execute red-team exercises. You can leverage tools and techniques, and test corpus developed by some of the DARPA programs, FFRDCs, or other universities. Cybersecurity Research Cybersecurity Research aims to develop forward-looking concepts, tools, and technologies to protect Philips from advanced cyber attacks. The research group is one of the organizations within Philips IT CISO team. The team is responsible for securing IT and jointly securing Philips products used all over the globe. The key stakeholders for IT CISO are Philips’ leadership, employees, and customers. Some of the main collaborators, as well as customers for the research group, include Security Operations, Government and International Relations, and Policy and Risk Management organizations within IT CISO. We are looking for a candidate with a Ph.D. in statistics, computer science, or other related fields with preferably a 2 years of experience in industries. The candidate is expected to research and advance the state-of-the-art in a few of the following systems exploitation and assessment areas: · Malware analysis and reverse engineering for (preferably) both mobile and non-mobile environments · Hardware, software, or network penetration testing · Web-site defacement prevention · Novel approaches for improving and applying static and dynamic analysis, and reverse engineering · Red/white team exercises and cyber range operations such as user, network, and systems modeling The key areas of responsibilities are as following: · Provide subject matter expertise, vision, and hands-on g to the guidance to the junior members of the team · Deliver thought leadership and overall direction and roadmap to the vulnerability discovery, assessment, and exploitation areas · Provide a written summary of the work, and also present the work to the senior leadership · Be familiar with the existing tools and methodologies used for systems assessments and exploitations, and also create new tools, if needed. · Extract relevant information from the dark and deep web, and create statistical models of users, networks, systems, and adversaries. · Conduct scientific experiments in the cyber domain, and have an in-depth knowledge of the TCP/IP protocols and cyber domain · Have an extensive knowledge of C/C++, python, assembly language, scripting and other programming languages. · Analyze common network services and software applications in order to discover new and potential vulnerabilities · Have an extensive experience with six or more of the following: o Security COTS integration o Security Incident Event Management o Insider Threat Monitoring o Operating System Hardening o Vulnerability Assessment testing o Penetration Testing o Identification and Authentication schemes o Public Key Infrastructure and Identity Management o Cross Domain Solutions o Computer Network Exploitation o Malware Analysis o Forensics Analysis o Reverse Software Engineering o Wireless device security applications o Security engineering Advance your career in an environment that supports work-life balance, health & well-being and continuous learning.
