Job Description
The Payroll Administrator is responsible for performing the day:to:day:operation of the companys payroll function and to assist the Director of Payroll.
Essential Functions
:Process weekly Diego union payroll.
:Assist with processing the companys bi:weekly payroll using Dayforce. Ensure timecard hours are accurately reflected in Dayforce and assist managers with timecard maintenance questions and historic edit requests.
:Process all necessary maintenance in Dayforce, including new hires, terminations, pay increases, tax changes, address changes, transfers, multiple allocation locations, wage garnishments, child support enforcement orders and deduction changes.
:Issue on site checks, stop payments and direct deposit reversals. Process commission and bonus payments.
:Execute company policies and procedures for processing payroll. Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws.
:Respond timely to payroll questions via the help desk, telephone and email.
:Perform periodic processes including but not limited to; maintain returned W2s and issue replacements upon request, assist with payroll audits, assist with training new staff members, complete employment verifications not handled by the Work Number.
:Execute special projects and other responsibilities as determined by the Director of Payroll.
Job Requirements
:Associates Degree required, Bachelors Degree Preferred.
:2:5 years of relatable experience.
:Proficient in Microsoft Office, Dayforce experience a plus.
:Excellent oral and written communication skills.
:Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers in a professional, service:oriented, respectful manner using skills in active listening and problem solvingpany Description
