Job Description
Selecting Sales Success is an independent recruiter under contract with a GPS Software Company looking to fill a Outside Sales Representative / Software Sales Representative position that is based in either OH, IL, IN, MN, or IA for the Mid:West. We are seeking an energetic and talented individual to join our Sales Team.
:The ideal candidate will have a minimum two years of sales experience.
:To be successful, this person will need to be detail oriented and self:motivated in our fast:paced, entrepreneurial environment.
:An understanding of the GPS Tracking Software industry is helpful but not necessary.
Compensation and Benefits:
:Salary, bonus, benefits, and unlimited earnings potential are offered.
:Up to 55,000 Base Salary based on experience, expected Annual Income on Target is 120,000
* Bachelors degree
* Minimum of 2 years of selling experience, knowledge of Software Sales and SaaS would be a plus
* Must be driven and have excellent communication skills.
* Ability to travel overnight when necessary (approximately 30:40).
General Responsibilities:
Responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close, in an assigned territory. Develops and implements agreed upon Marketing Plan which will meet both personal and business goals of expanding customer base in the marketing area.
The individual will be calling upon public and private sectors to develop relationships which will bring the individual a network of potential clients seeking our solution.
Essential skills and position requirements:
:Demonstrates technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas listed above that allows Sales Associate to give effective presentation.
:Full Sales Cycle Responsibilites from Prospecting through Closing the Sale and follow up activities for Account Management.
:Complete understanding of pricing and proposal models.
:Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers.
:Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers to their business issues.
:Creates and conducts effective proposal presentations and RFP responses that identify prospects business problems and the effects of the problems.
:Responsible for sourcing and developing referrals.
:Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow:up activities within their assigned territory, including the use of a CRM to maintain accurate records to maximize territory potential.
:Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
