The role of the Online Learning Production Specialist is to create and develop online technical training content for InterSystemsA? customer:facing online training initiatives. This role will work closely with the Course Developers to move content from storyboards and scripts to final online content. This individual will developing online content using Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Open edX and other tools. They will be working with the Instructional Designer and Course Developers located in our corporate headquarters in Cambridge on a day to day basis. Design and develop online courses including demonstrations, videos, simulations and assessments for InterSystemsA? customer:facing programsWill use corporate standards of functionality, effectiveness, and appearance for trainingEnsure course objectives and instructional methods to achieve course goalsWork with Learning Technology Specialist to automate and optimize production processReview course feedback on an ongoing basis to evaluate need for improvements as well as maintain and update existing materialsWork with Online Quality Specialist to ensure proper course testing and provide rapid updates and fixes to content as neededAbility to author multimedia content for a learning content management systemBackground in adult learning, online course development, or instructional designExperience developing online content with tools such as SnagIt, Camtasia, Storyline, Lectora, and/or Adobe CaptivateExperience with learning management systems such as Open edX, Absorb, Cornerstone, Saba, Moodle or similar technologyKnowledge of basic video production systemsExperience with SCORM and HTMLMixture of strong technical and communication/interpersonal skillsDesire to learn new technologiesAbility to work independently and within a team to create instructional materialBachelorA?s degree in education, training or development, or related fieldMasterA?s/Secondary degree in E:learning, adult education, applied technology or instructional design a plus.2:5 years of experience developing technically based online training in a corporate settingInterSystems provides the information engines that power some of the worldA?s most important applications.
