Manager’s Notes … I have spent over 20 years now working as a local estate agent and as you can imagine, I have seen some beautiful homes in that time. If I were to pick my favourites from over the years however, Rose Cottage is quite honestly one of them. This spacious Georgian house really is as attractive on the outside as it is on the inside, with later additions to the property now blending beautifully with the original house. It really does have the most welcoming feeling from the moment you step into the spacious reception hall, and although it has four reception rooms including the large garden room on the ground floor and four double bedrooms to the first floor, Rose Cottage is both cosy and comfortable and it is easy to feel at home straight away. The handmade kitchen is totally in-keeping with the character of the house, having that winning mixture of character with a modern twist. The master bedroom for example has one of the most stunning en-suite bathrooms I have seen, with free standing bath, twin wash basins and a walk in shower area with mood lighting. Rose Cottage also benefits from incredibly attractive and established gardens which provide a good degree of privacy as well as being very beautiful to sit out in when the weather is fine. It is easy to admire the gardens from the wonderful conservatory, or garden room which has a wood burning stove and so makes the room incredibly usable all year round. Outside, an extensive gravel and then further block paved driveway provides ample parking and hard standing for many vehicles with the added security of a five bar gate to keep pets or children off the front. The detached double garage is also an attractive building in its own right, with two wooden barn style doors and a useful studio / workshop on the side which would be just as ideal for a buyer working from home, as for a family needing a potential annexe for relatives or a games room for teenagers. Rose Cottage is a beautiful and versatile property, just on the outskirts of the town yet within walking distance of the Hospital and several very good schools….. Reception Hall - Offering a great first impression, with floorboards, staircase to the first floor, door to the cloakroom housing WC and wash basin, additional cloaks cupboard and windows to the front and side aspects.
